Grant Guidance
This section contains guidance for organisations that have already received a grant from Newbold Legacy Trust. As well as information on our terms and conditions and reporting requirements, we aim here to answer some of the questions that may come up over the lifetime of a grant. For example:
- Can we request a ‘change of use’ for our grant?
- How quickly do we have to claim our grant?
- Can our grant be used to cover sickness or maternity pay?

We aim to be fully transparent with our grant giving. In general you will be asked to agree to NLT publishing your organisation’s name and brief details of the purpose and amount of the grant awarded. In the case of small grants awarded to individuals, we will be sensitive to requests for confidentiality and will agree with you in advance what we will publicly say about your grant award, which may be anonymised where appropriate.
